Google Starts Sending Invitation Code of its Domain Name Service

Google Domains
Back in June, google announced to start its own domain name registration service. Initially, it was and also is in invite-only beta and needs an invitation code to access registration services like registering a domain, transferring a domain. So, I requested an invitation code on its website to transfer my domain name.

This morning google sent me the following email with the invitation code.

Hello,

You requested to join the Google Domains invite-only beta and today we’re excited to offer you an invitation to join.

As you begin to buy, transfer and manage your domains with us or if you try out one of our website building providers, we would love to hear what you think. We welcome all questions and feedback.

Follow the directions to get started:

1. Click the button below to launch Google Domains.
2. Enter your unique invitation code: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX(Replaced my invitation code with X here)

Please note that our current beta is U.S. only.

All the best,
The Google Domains team

In the end of the email google also mentioned that Google Domain beta is available only in U.S, and is showing the following message to non U.S users when logged into Google Domain dashboard using the invitation code:

"We’re sorry. Google Domains may not be available in your country. Learn more to get notified when it is available."
