Gmail made unsubscribing from unwanted email easier

Updated On 8/07/2014
Good news for gmail users!

Yesterday gmail announced on its Google+ page that it is simplifying the option to unsubscribe from unwanted email.
Gmail users from now on will have an "Unsubscribe" link beside Senders Address. Earlier it used to be at the bottom of email message hidden somewhere between those message texts

To stop receiving emails from a particular sender, click on Unsubscribe link. A prompt will appear, Select the Unsubscribe button. Based on sender's configuration it will either opt you out with the message "You should stop receiving messages from this mailing list." or refer you to their site from where you can unsubscribe.

Not on all emails you will see the Unsubscribe link. Sender of the email have to include the Unsubscribe Link and the email must be from Promotions, Social, or  Forums category for it to appear.

Google also pointed that it will keep your inbox clutter free.Though this is a baby step towards keeping your gmail inbox clutter-free, your inbox still will be filled in junk emails as they haven't included it in all emails.

Yahoo has implemented this feature years ago and has the option to block any sender from disturbing you.
